Pricing and What to Expect

Porch & Portico follows a fixed price model for most of its projects. This means the project scope is outlined in the contract for a specified total price which includes both labor and materials.

"Ball park" estimates can be obtained at no cost by requesting via "contact us" or telephone. Simply provide us with the nature and scope of the project and we will provide you with a non-binding approximate cost. This is not a true estimate but may still be useful for the purpose of getting the feel for the price of the project before moving forward with a site visit. A ballpark estimate may be all that is required to move forward with a small task or set of tasks.

A site visit is when we come and meet with a customer at their home or business to discuss the project details, take pictures and measurements necessary for a proper estimate. Site visits cost $150.00 and usually last an hour or less. If more time is required additional fees may apply.

Estimates (proposals) include a detailed scope of work and may also involve floor plan designs and visualization images. The time needed to prepare an accurate estimate depends on the size and complexity of the project, and the cost reflects that. We’ll let you know the estimate fee during the site visit, or include it with a ballpark figure when appropriate.
